Walking through the halls of Miles Mac
As I walk through the halls of the school I can see the past achievements of former buckeys. As I walk through the tunnel I can see the names of past principals and names of students that have won awards. Also I can see past students in their graduation photos. This also shows the age of the school. another thing that shows the age of the school are the brick on the walls and the big block of stone that's part of the floor that has the date 1952 engraved in it. I think all pf these things show the identity of our school by showcasing our achievements and showing that we bucks our proud and take pride in being buckeyes. Also it shows the wisdom of our school with our age.
What is not represented in our halls are things we are not proud of like when we've been defeated, did not succceed or didn't do our best. We shows the succcesses because we show the best that we can be. I don't think that's a bad thing though because it shows that we're bold, united, creative, knowledgeable, empowered, yourself and enthusiastic.
Another thing that is not represented on our walls is the history of the name of our school. The name of our school comes from a man named Miles Macdonell and he was born around 1763 and died in the year 1828. Miles worked for the Hudson Bay Company and was the governor of Assiniboia. He was not very liked and could not get the loyalty of other men.
I think the identity of the school fits my identity because I'm pretty creative. Also I think I am also outgoing at times and caring. Finally I believe that I'm knowledgeable as well.

I am excited to have my graduation picture on the wall like past BUCKEYES and become a permanent part of the school's identity.
ReplyDeleteI like that you brought up the fact that no one really knows the history of the school. I think it is important to show on our walls. Great post!
