I am me, I am not the walls
The walls don't really represent me all that much. The walls promote growth of academic knowledge and comradery but I'm not really that type of person. Yes I'm knowledgeable and yes I have friends but that's not all of who I am, I'm me. I like video games and going to hang out with my friends and eat a lot of food and I wont be defined by the walls that oppress who I am and turn me into a buckeye, because frankly, I'm not a buckeye. I'm my own person and that's that. As for the things I see in the halls such as the posters and all the teachers getting into the spirit of the school its actually quite dumb. The teachers aren't showing who they really are either and there supposed to show us and teach us to express ourselves but in reality they aren't themselves either when they're at school. We as a school must band together to become ourselves and no one else, we as individuals must do this and not as BUCKEYES!
*cough*cough you are a buckeye my dude
ReplyDeleteThe title you picked is great. It really represents your opinion and gives an idea of the intent of your article. I agree with the fact that we can't express ourselves openly unless we say we are Buckeyes. Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the fact we are our own person and the walls don't show what we all are. Though some things on the walls do show what some or most of the students that make up our school.
