I think students and teachers notice the colorful art work and posters but I feel we forget about them and think of them as irrelevant. We walk the halls to get from class to class and most people are occupied by trying not to get stepped on, or simply on their phones. The art work is beautiful in my opinion and inspiring. The rules of the school, well that’s just boring, no one reads or listens when we waste half an hour in TA going over Buckeye behavior. Yes we are reminded of how we are to act and what we can and can’t do but being realistic, it doesn’t mean we will follow them. The thing that truly affects and shapes us, are our classmates and how we interact with one another.
I believe we are who we are from our experiences and how we respond to them. Our personality builds and expands as we grow older. School is apart of that, we spend a lot of time here but at the end of the day we go home and are surrounded by our loved ones, they have the most impact on us. When we disappoint them it hurts us (or at least some of us). We pick our friends but family, family can't be chosen. We spend more time with our family growing up and develop little bits of ourselves and with time we add to it, learning about ourselves and our outlook on life. Our personality is developed from family, childhood friends and our experiences. We choose from there on out.

  1. I 100% agree with your conclusion-our childhood and experiences develops our personality. I think this was a very insightful post
