Blog Task #1: Who are you?

Your first mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete the strange identity circles handout I gave you in class (or am giving you RIGHT NOW. Time is an illusion. Spooky.).

If all goes as planned we will have a bit of a discussion about aspects of identity....

Consider:

What makes us who we are?

What aspects of our identity are a result of circumstances beyond our control?

What aspects of our identity do we purposefully select for ourselves?

To what degree does our free will determine who we are, or who we think we are?

To what degree is our identity pre-determined by fate/God(dess?)/cosmic algorithms/our astrological sign?

Prepare a short post sharing your thoughts on these questions. Maybe you've never thought about this kind of thing before. That's okay! I want to know what you think.

When you're finished posting, read posts from your classmates and comment if you have something to add to their ideas. 

If you're all done do a Google search and see if you can find a definition for these terms:

1. Fatalism
2. Predestination
3. Determinism
